My TOP 10 Most Favorite FILMS & ANIMATIONS

Fantasy and sci-fi have been my interests since a couple of years ago and I would like to share some of my favorite movies, hope you all like it 

1.      AVATAR (2009)

What I think :
I really love this movie as I watched it again and again. I like how the story begins and ends and the most interesting part for me is the character design of Na'Vi tribe. And also how do they developed the backgrounds and animals. This movie is very worth it to watch since there are a lot of things you may not find in the other movies. The story line is unique as well and I can't wait for the next sequel in 2018.   

2. THE HOBBIT : AN UNEXPECTED
                        JOURNEY (2012)

What I think :

The Hobbit movie series, which are based on the novel written by J.R.R. Tolkien in 1937, really drew my attention. Even though sometimes it is hard for me to understand and remembering all the character names in the film, this film is truly fascinating. Every series is about 3 to 4 hours long, I agree that it makes your eyes tired, but once you start watching it, you will never be able to stop, that's what I think.

3. THE HOBBIT : THE DESOLATION OF
                        SMAUG (2013)

What I think :
The second series of The Hobbit is actually my favorite among the others because there are more adventurous scenes and new characters in the film. I really like the landscapes and view in the film, which is New Zealand's nature wonder. The Mirkwood scene is also my favorite, it is when the dwarfs come inside the woods and being attacked by giant spiders, while Bilbo was captured by the Wood-elf. And their adventure still continues...





4. THE HOBBIT : THE BATTLE OF 
                        FIVE ARMIES (2014)
Directed by                  : Peter Jackson
Production Company : New Line Cinema

What I think :
This is the final series of THE HOBBIT. It is still interesting as the others, but mostly of the scenes in this film is about war. It is when Thorin, the king, and the dwarfs were fighting with the orcs, and the other tribes. This film is still very worth it to watch, especially if you are a big fan of fantasy movies, furthermore, it gives a very wonderful ending :)

5. DAWN OF THE PLANETS OF THE APES (2014)

Directed by                  : Matt Reeves
Production Company : TSG and Chermin Entertainment

What I think :
Actually, there are two sides in this film. This movie mostly tells us about the evolution of apes, the time when they are being able to speak and live as human does. In one side, apes tried to keep distance with humans because they just want to live in harmony, but there was a betrayal, and finally hatred and war happened. The other side of this movie is about forgiveness and forgetting about the pass.





                                        

6.  THE MAZE RUNNER (2014)

Production Company :  TSG and Temple Hill Entertainment


What I think :
The Maze Runner has 3 series, the first one is The Maze Runner and second one is The Scorch Trials, while the third will probably be published on 2018. This film is mostly about escaping, whether escaping from the murderous maze, from evil people, and so on. But what makes this movie really interesting? watch it and you will know :)






7. MAZE RUNNER : THE SCORCH TRIALS

What I think :
The second series is as interesting as the first one, just one thing that makes me really disappointed is the ending. All the main characters have finally succeed from escaping the bad organization that trying to capture them, but one of the characters betrayed her friends. So, the organization was being able to capture of their friends, and the team has to go back all the way from the beginning. 





8. JURASSIC WORLD (2015)

Production Company : Legendary Pictures

What I think :
I'm sure all of you know about this movie. The first movie was called Jurassic Park which was released on 1998. Even though it was released in the 1900s, the quality of the VFX is the same as the movie this days. And since then the series keep continue, just with different actors and artists. But, from all the series of Jurassic, I like Jurassic World the most. I like how they develop the characteristic of Indominus Rex, it is a dinosaur that is more murderous than T-REX. This is an unexpected movie, as every scene has its own uniqueness, and of course sometimes it can makes you startled!

9. THE JUNGLE BOOK (2016)

Production Company : Walt Disney and Fairview Entertainment

What I think :
The movie that I'm going to discuss now is quite different from the previous ones. It is not about war or sci-fi movies, The Jungle Book tells us a story about Mowgli who was being raised by Seeonee, which is a wolf. They live in a very deep forests which is far from the human residential areas. For this long time Mowgli lived happily with Seeonee, who cared him so much, until one day Mowgli was forced to live with humans because forest is not longer safe for him anymore. His journey is not easy as giant snakes and the other carnivore animals were trying to kill him.




10. X-MEN APOCALYPSE (2016)

Directed by                 : Bryan Singer
Production Company : Marvel and TSG Entertainment

What I think :
Just like the other superheroes movies, X-men Apocalypse tells us about the good people who were fighting with bad people in order to save the world. But, the different is that one guy named Eric Lehnsherr who has the power to control magnetic fields, which once was a bad guy decided to use his power for the good of humanity. I really recommend this movie, even though probably the reviews for this film are not as good as the others, but I'm sure you are gonna like it.
