Faces Emotions and Full Body Drawing (BSA 126)
Faces Expressions and Emotions
Hi Guys!!! I come back with my newest drawing, not really new actually but kinda new haha. I made this during class time and as our tutor asked us to practice how to make different emotions in one character. But, I didn't finish at that time, so I continue the next day during lunch time. Not just the faces, but at the end we also studied to make a full body. So let's see my drawing:
A. Faces
At that time, when I was thinking what kind of expressions should I make, I thought on making a funny and cheerful expressions. But, at that moment as well I realized I just drew something cheerful, so I changed my mind. Finally, I made a character about a teenage girl that is not too girly, cool, and doesn't talk much. With four different emotions and expressions, I think that illustrates the character a lot.
1st Face emotion : When she is not laughing, yet angry, normal expressions
2nd Face emotion : She is really pissed off about something, but she tried to keep it in and not yelling at people to express her emotions
3rd Face emotion : When she is talking with her friends something funny
4th Face emotion : She is shocked
B. Full Body
I am still trying to improve my drawing proportion, especially the hands and legs. I have learned a little bit of anatomy before and it actually helps me a lot! In this drawing, I wanted to make a pirate that just sailed away and missed her family. She was holding the mast and waving to her family and friends. In one way she was happy to travel with her comrades, but in other way, she was sad to leave her family behind. That's why I drew a sad and happy expression together. For her clothes, I drew 1800s style one.
Please comment about my drawing and also my ideas. I really want to know how to improve it by hearing your critiques as well. Thank you :)
